Don't use Facebook because then there is no record of the conversation. Use the AliExpress messaging system.
God give me patience ... but I want it NOW!!

I think I've read here that people have had better luck getting in touch with him on Facebook; that's why I suggested it. But yes, I would copy any agreements you might make on Facebook into the Aliexpress messaging system, in case any dispute arises.
Yes, I've bought a guitar from him, and while others have had good experiences, mine was not. Essentially the guitar arrived damaged and then he did next to nothing to resolve the issue. Not responding to messages seems to be a common complaint. I was able to contact him via Facebook, but as others have suggested, I would limit conversations to general questions and the like. Do not conduct any "official business" through this channel, as others have rightly suggested, it leaves no official record of what has been agreed. Certainly do not pay him via PayPal or anything like that.
My LP Custom from ZJason (as he was calling himself then) was the best Chinese guitar I've bought. All that needed changing was the pickups; I only changed the tuners because I preferred the shape of the kidney buttons to tulips, and the pots because I was fitting pull-push ones for coil splitting and phase switching. The bridge was a solid as a rock, and I only levelled and profiled the frets from force of habit! could probably have missed that out as well.
I personally wouldn't deal with Jason. I "spoke" to him briefly a couple of times and he comes off as paranoid and shady. He would seem to answer me, but never in a manner I felt comfortable with. I even tried to break the ice and joke with him by saying, "your a man of few words" and still, either one word replies or no reply at all. I walked away thinking, I would never deal with this guy. But this is my experience.
Jason actually delivered some good guitars for a while, but seems to have taken a sharp turn in the wrong direction as of late. More complaints than compliments, and a few guitars delivered that were received with badly damaged necks. And communication seems to have become a big issue with him. Not sure what is going on with him. I'm told that he is living in Australia, but his family runs the guitar factory in China.
The two most important things to remember in life: "The only time it's acceptable to work with amateurs is if you are making porn." "If you want to work with clowns, join a circus."

Yes I think I was one of the lucky ones in that I ordered mine at just the right time. I wouldn't order from him now, though.
Indeed, as I mentioned in another thread, I was about to order a guitar when he asked me for photos (it was a PRS but with a quilted top instead of flamed). Since sending them, I haven't heard a thing from him. That was over a month ago now. If I do place the order, it will be with Cathy.
